WHO WE ARE:

L & T Services has provided quality and professional care to clients for over 40 years. We have two licensed residential care facilities in the Vancouver area that are home to 21 clients, most of whom are ABI survivors.

We offer 24 hour care and supervision to a total of 21 clients between our two licensed facilities. The HCA staff hold registration in the BC Care Aid Registry. Our Registered Psychiatric Nurse provides medical support when needed as well as coordinates care with doctors and specialists. When indicated, the RN will accompany clients to medical appointments to ensure proper follow up with concerns.

We offer a complete range of activities and programs to suit the diverse needs of our client population. We also participate in community programs such as at the Strive Centre, a drop in centre for clients with brain injuries. Clients enjoy doing art work, joining karaoke and attending special musical performances. We also participate daily in virtual Strive programming - our clients enjoy the fitness classes, music programming and cognitive games - all via Zoom.

Clients are supported in their vocational aspirations. Several of our clients have volunteer or paid employment.

We focus on client ADL’s and assist clients to achieve their maximum level of independence. We do offer full support in all areas of hygiene: bathing, dressing, dental hygiene, and personal grooming.

 

OUR GOAL IS TO ASSIST EACH CLIENT TO REACH THEIR MAXIMUM LEVEL OF INDEPENDENCE IN A SAFE, KIND AND SUPPORTIVE ENVIRONMENT.
